VBDC host Jersey men's team.

VBDC Volleyball Club hosted the Jersey Island men's team in a fantastic match.

Our U18's (+ one player slightly out of this age range) did the club proud in securing a thrilling 3-2 victory.

A big thank you to Elizabeth, Mark and Bob for officiating.

We are already looking forward to a reciprocal trip to Jersey in the near future.

Neurodiversity Sessions

The club, along with our sponsors Volleyball Development Camps (www.vbdc.co.uk) and the award-winning charity F6it (www.f6it.org) continue to run sessions for disabled and neurodivergent young people at our Haslemere training venue The Edge.

This has proved to be a hugely rewarding activity for both the difference it makes to the young attendees as well as the session coaches and we would wholeheartedly recommend getting involved in similar partnerships.

Opening home fixtures for the 2025-26 season announced

Our three Surrey League teams have had their opening home fixtures announced. The Ducks open up with a match against local rivals Richmond in the Women's division..

The Drakes will have an away match against Dorking on 12/10 before welcoming East Grinstead Kings to ACS Cobham. for their men's division 1 fixture.

The Whoopers have two tricky away fixtures against Crawley and Spelthorne 1 to negotiate before they take on Guildford in mems division 1.

Girls U15 Gold Cup winners..... again !

Girls U15 Gold Cup Winners

Our Under 15 girls have done it again.

In the third and final round of the Volleyball England Girls U15 Grand Prix and competing for the Gold Cup our girls emerged as champions without dropping a set. Victories over AST Academy and Leeds Gorse Orange set up a final against local rival Richmond.

An early lead was established based around a solid block and defence game and was never relinquished. The second set was similar and despite a slightly nervous final few points the girls eventually closed out the match to clinch the cup for a second year in a row.
